Applebee's Grill + Bar, 4040 US-54 in Osage Beach

recently visited Applebee's, and I have to say it was one of the most repulsive dining experiences of my life. From the moment I entered the restaurant, the atmosphere felt lackluster and uninspiring, but little did I know that was just the beginning of my ordeal.Upon ordering my food, I had no idea that I would soon be served a side of bodily fluids. Yes, you read that correctly. It turns out that the kitchen staff at this particular Applebee's found it appropriate to garnish my meal with their saliva.The appetizer arrived, and at first glance, it seemed reasonably presentable. But as I took my first bite, I immediately noticed an unpleasant taste and texture, as if something was off. When I inspected the food further, I discovered a clear sign of foul play—a distinctive glob of spit nestled amidst the otherwise innocuous ingredients.I was absolutely disgusted and appalled. Not only had my dining experience been tarnished, but my health and well-being were put at risk by the blatant disregard for food safety standards. It is unimaginable that a supposedly reputable establishment like Applebee's would allow such abhorrent behavior to occur within its walls.To make matters worse, when I approached the staff to address the issue, they displayed a shocking lack of concern. Rather than offering an apology or rectifying the situation, they dismissively shrugged off my complaint as if it were an everyday occurrence. This level of indifference and disrespect towards paying customers is absolutely unacceptable.I strongly advise anyone considering dining at Applebee's to think twice. The sheer audacity of serving food tainted with spit speaks volumes about the lack of professionalism and hygiene standards in this establishment. Save yourself the money, the hassle, and the risk to your health, and seek out a more reputable and reliable dining option. You deserve better than this repugnant experience

Chips were a bit stale and the noodles and breadsticks also tasted cheap or under done. Server is nice and took care of us. Wish the food quality matched the pricing.Food: 2/5

My food was mediocre, lukewarm, but my waitress was great! On the other hand, another waitress was expressing her frustration on a tip she received from another table after they left. Thought this was highly unprofessional to do in front of other paying customers.Food: 3/5

We were traveling through on our way home with baby my steak was cooked wrong overcooked I sent back my daughter food not hot but she didn’t say anything my new steak was raw hmm I am done I will pay for sides and eat that I want to get home still 2 plus hours away the manager came out and apologized and took some off bill but really they need a new grill cook. I will also say I cooked for a living 14 years and I know how to grill foodKid-friendliness: Good high chair and menu and crayons

Waitress was friendly and helpful. We had all you could eat ribs, chicken wings and shrimp. We never had empty drinks or food platters. Food was good and first portions were plentiful and next portions tapered off smaller which was a good thing.Food: 5/5

Great service. Food was good as always but pricey. I enjoyed the atmosphere my friends and I had a good time.

Love love this place. Waitress was very attentive and we had a great dinner. Wanton tacos rock!!
