The food and service are excellent. However, the management of the restaurant is very poorly done. We had a large family gathering, with family members coming from New York, Boston, Connecticut, and they would not put us in the larger area where we would of had more room and we could actually talk and not be in other peoples way. Also, a family member was on crutches and had to elevate her foot. We will never have another big party at this restaurant until the management changes their seating arrangements for large partys.

Horrible service. Seat a family of 5 and totally ignore them while every table sat after got served drinks and placed their orders. Gave out kids menus with no crayons. Tried to get anyone’s attention and was ignored. Got up and left and nobody even noticed. Never again.

Pretty standard Applebee's. Drinks are always good. Food is usually great. Busy every night from 2-5, especially so on Fridays. No calling ahead to get on the wait list but they will take a number and text when you're party is up if you want to wait in your car. Free wifi is fast, always.Food: 5/5

I brought my autistic daughter here hoping to get her to try new flavors. Big mistake! Not only was the waitress forgetful and inattentive, she messed up our order quite substantially. So I asked for two riblet dinners to go and we left, literally going somewhere else for dinner. When we got home, I looked at the riblet dinners we got to go and found the containers to be nearly empty. So I weighed them - one was 2.3 ounces of riblets, the other 2.1 ounces. That's including the bones and sauce. Sorry, not doing that again!

We had a rough time trying to get our group of 8 to all sit together. Our waitress Tracy was dropping f-bombs in front of my 9 year old son. Refills for our drinks were few and far between. The host and waitress were arguing back and forth about fire code and how we couldn't have people sitting in the aisle. (Which we understood but go fight somewhere else). You could see some of the staff were flustered trying to pick up the slack for others. Just a stressful trip all around.

Same old dishes - nothing new and interesting. Plain Jane serving up the not-so-tasty meals. A little more Italian-American dishes may help, or maybe even some Mediterranean dishes could help the menu. Never have coffee ready - always have to wait extra time “for a fresh pot” to be brewed.

i love applebees, i come here frequently. great prices, usually great service. tonight i was sitting here with a friend for two hours. got checked on twice. our sever was Patrick. never checked in, was super short with us, and carried his vape around. he clearly just wanted to leave. i am a sever and always leave a very generous tip. i was tempted to not even tip tonight. worst service i have received here.

Horrible DoorDash experience with them. I ordered food from cosmic wings and some apps which both came from Applebees and the delivery driver waited well over 20 mins, and they only handed him one of the bags. When my fiancé called them about it they basically blamed us for it being two separate orders which they were aware of because they confirmed both orders at the same time. So after having to call DoorDash to get a different driver to go back and fix Applebees screw up we called to make sure that the food was going to be fresh and they claimed it would all be remade. But guess what? No big shocker here, it wasn’t even remotely fresh. I’m sorry but Ice cream wouldn’t have completely melted in the 5 min car ride!??♀️ I will never go back to Applebees in Waterville, Maine. They are completely ignorant and clearly don’t care about costumers satisfaction. Worst $70 I ever spent.
