A warning to those who are dining here and getting take out during COVID.....the kitchen staff do not wear masks. We were socially distanced via seating, but were sat right where we could view the kitchen doors and none of the staff in the kitchen, who prepare food, wore masks. When the staff came out of the kitchen they put on masks, but what is the point if food is not being prepared while masked? The bartender also wore his mask incorrectly by placing it under his nose. One host also wore her mask incorrectly. Servers also went into the kitchen and took off their masks while in that area. I also saw multiple servers go out for breaks without masks and then not wash their hands or use sanitizer when coming back inside. Really disappointing since this is one of the best restaurants in Grafton. It seemed as if they were trying to give the illusion of being safe. Please take your staff and guests safety more seriously and follow the mask mandate.

3 stars only because the service was good. Went for the fish fry. Asked a customer who had ordered it how it was. He said perch was excellent. I ordered the cod. Husband got the perch. Perch was overcooked and cod tasted very greasy. Homemade coleslaw was very fresh tasting but very boring and bland. Fries were under the fish which made them kinda soggy. Rye bread was the highlight of the meal and I don't even like rye bread. Very disappointed.

5 stars for the food and service. Nice balcony view of the river and bridge. The staff all had medical grade masks on. Outstanding cheese curds. Quality, fresh ingredients nicely executed.

We had a wonderful lunch and felt safe. We sat on the outside deck and all of the staff wore masks and the tables were socially distanced. We wore our masks coming in and leaving. The food was great. We will be back.

The food and prices are very good, always liked the the experience however times have changed...4 days past we dined on the patio and they placed this hog of a man and 6 other people within a foot of my wife. We requested another table and no problem. On that date all the servers and waitresses had masks. Fast forward to June 30th. We order a pickup. I enter and no mask on any employee anywhere. No record of my order, they gave me a gift card for future orders, well done but...this establishment has erased all precautions to the virus. I know 2 people dead from the virus and 1 hanging on, I am 68 years old, I think I need to be worried. The ale house does not care. You simply need to know that and take it from there.

We discovered that MKE Ale House in Grafton opened with reservations on 5/14/20. We were very pleased with the responsible plan they had for providing social distancing and a safe atmosphere. In my opinion, they took the right approach as opposed to several local bars that didn't limit patrons & made national headlines. It was good to get out again and they provided a friendly safe atmosphere. It was much appreciated. Burgers were delicious as well. Good job guys

Milwaukee Ale House in Grafton is so good! I love the cheese curds, all of their salads (which is uncommon for me), and sandwiches. Also, if you're looking for some comfort food, get their chicken pot pie!! Best I've ever had!

Great food and atmosphere, wish the service matched. Waiter somewhat rude and rushed, forgot a drink, brought it over after we watched it sit at the bar for 20 mins watering down, had to ask him for it. Waiter did not offer apology and just set it down at the table. He seemed rushed and annoyed to be serving tables, not friendly at all. Would try again because the place is cool, hope for better service.
