Great beer, great aesthetic, and yummy snacks. Wonderful place to chill and they’re doing an awesome job with the COVID requirements.I’m really looking forward to when they are able to start renting out board games in their back game room as well!

I was so excited to try this place but was very disappointed. Great place for a drink and awesome service! But the food......We order the $14 cheese board. This had a few rice crackers, a quarter of an apple (or half a very small one), Beaver garlic mustard, 6 pieces of sausage, a few tiny pickles and mostly pretzels. The cheese was literally pre-sliced cheese that they cut in half again. This reminded me of the episode of The Office when Michael and Andy put together a "cheese sampler" for Jim and Wallace. We ordered the only two options they had for sandwiches and they were good! But the only side options is kettle chips and a chunk of a pickle. Im not joking. They cut a pickle in half and then again 3 times. So you got a pickle bite as a side. This place is way to expensive for the quality and quantity. This place is trying to be fancy but everything they had i could get at Grocery outlet down the street....Charging an arm and a leg for prepackaged food i can put together (better) at home.We might try this place again after covid, I'm hoping thats the reason for the poor menu.

While out enjoying our first weekend away since the pandemic started in February, we saw this place, read the reviews, noticed a PRIDE flag in the window and went in. We were immediately impressed by the beer and wine options (At least three kinds of GF beer!) and the bar staff that was attentive, friendly and - at this time, most importantly- fully masked and following protocols. We learned the owner was sitting at the bar enjoying a beer and so we talked with him a bit and thanked him for his pride flag and support of the lgbtq community. I had a glass of wine, my partner a GF beer and ordered a salad and some wings. The front room was full so we walked to the back room which required us going past the kitchen area where we saw the singular kitchen staff wearing his mask covering most of his mouth but not his nose. It's well known this misses the mark on sanitary precautions and doesn't reduce the spread of the novel coronavirus any more than not wearing a mask at all. We sat down in the back room and it was empty when we arrived and some Frank Sinatra was playing quietly. We enjoyed our drinks and enjoyed chatting together. A few people filed in to the back room and it remained quite pleasant. Our food arrived and at the same time the music switched change to a very different genre, one that- had it been on when we arrived- we would not have chosen to spend our time or money there. No problem with it as I presume others like it, just not something I want to hear. Our food arrived. The salad was quite tasty (but, for the amount of nuts, goat cheese and cranberries in the salad, needed 3-4x the amount of greens) and the wings were far too fatty for our taste. Maybe the chickens were waiting out the pandemic on the couch with Netflix and beer, too. The sauce was okay and the blue cheese was okay. Nothing special but not bad either. we stayed for another 40m or so and the bar staff checked on us a few timesI went to the bar to get a box for the salad extras (we have greens at home) and the bill. While i was there I mentioned to the bar staff about the mask wearing issue (we observed it on the second kitchen staff who had come to work during that time) and I observed the waitress mentioning it to the kitchen staff. I went to the back and gathered my partner and our things and then on the way back to the front I saw the waitress telling the owner as well. As we were about to leave, we observed the cook deliver food with his mask now covering LESS of his mouth and not his nose at all. Yes...this is a new paradigm but as a tourist town I would expect all of the protocols to be enforced if they are going to be put in place. We may come in for a drink (again, the bar staff was great!) but wouldn't come for the food until we heard that there were improvements.

Awesome food and brews! I love the laid-back-but-still-upscale style this place offers.

THE NACHOS. This cute little wine and beer spot, has some amazing bites. But the nachos...holy goodness they are the best I've ever had. The small is huge and the huge is a literal cookie sheet of nachos FULL of all the perfect toppings: pork or chicken, olives, beans, cilantro, sour cream, jalapeño, and that nacho cheese. I love the Cream Ale on tap, to wash it down.

Let me start by saying I'm not giving 5 stars because it's the first place I've been able to enjoy a meal and a beer in since March! This is a cute little brew pub in the heart of downtown newberg, and it is cute indeed! Of course due to restrictions the seating is limited, but it still felt nice to hear other people enjoying each other's company over a brew and some food. The seating is nice, they have a couple of couches and coffee tables, and a couple of high tables and stools as well as the bar. They have a great tap selection, and a small but adequate food menu. The menu includes snacks like giant soft pretzels, almonds, pork rinds. They also have nachos that serve 4, 2 or single serving. I'm gonna start right there, their nachos are honestly the best I've had! I like them so much because they have queso instead of shredded cheese. You have the option of chicken or carnitas as well. They come stacked high on a cookie sheet, perfect for everyone to just grab from. If I don't come back for anything else ever I will for the nachos! We also snagged a charcuterie board. It was smaller, yet perfect lunch size for the three of us. I would order that again as well. The staff are super friendly, the music and ambiance is on point, and you can really relax and enjoy a nice afternoon here. Come check it out!
