My husband and I celebrated our daughters 4th birthday yesterday and ordered a tres leches cake with strawberries in the middle for 75 guests, the cake was perfect !! The tres leches was the perfect amount of moist as it should be, not too sweet and the strawberries just balanced everythjng out! Her birthday was frozen themed and they nailed it with the decoration, it was exactly like the image we chose. They also offered to put a picture of her if we wanted to. We passed on that but will be trying it next time. I will definitely be ordering from panadería quetzal again! Unfortunately with the party hosting I forgot to take a picture of the cake but here is a side view ( daughter touched the box the cake was in and messed up the front icing) And a picture of the design I found online which is exactly what we got . :))

I gave one star just because is the only “Guatemalan” bakery I’ve seen in Monroe and because their service is not so bad. But, my experience was awful. I’m sure the bread is not made fresh ever day, which it wouldn’t be such a big deal if it didn’t tasted like cardboard when I tried it, and literally never in my life I had a COLD out of the fridge donut, horrible flavor, even the chocolate tasted nasty. Charging $2.50 for a non fresh made bread is ridiculous.

Super excited to have a Hispanic bread shop and store close by. It reminds me of living in Costa Rica. I loved loved loved the flan and the croissants and cookies Etc everyone should try it
