Spent the day in Sag Harbor and East Hampton with my wife and 2 teenage sons. Had lobster rolls for lunch in Sag Harbor and shopped around in East Hampton. The boys were in the mood for BBQ. Googled "local BBQ" and Townline BBQ popped up. We tried the brisket, St Louis ribs, smoked chicken, and corn bread. The staff were cordial and the premises followed atrict COVID precautions. We loved the food and definitely will go back even though it's 80 miles from our home !

The food was great! We got a take out order. The brisket was A+ as were the baked beans. The whoppie pie and pudding was great too. They get a star off because they forgot to give us the cornbread! ($250+ order, they threw in a whole bottle of BBQ sauce for us and it’s definitely good). I love cornbread and was disappointed that it wasn’t there. Also, I wish they had some kind of delivery option... it is what it is I guess. Definitely give this place a try- we will be back!

I have cooked and bought a TON of bbq in my life and this is just middle of the road. Everything was tasty and enjoyed by the family, but I would not go out of my way for Townline. The ribs were okay, but not very tender. Clearly not cooked long or low enough. The brisket was a real disappointment. The brisket we recieved was kinda hacked up, slices of all different sizes. I had to re-cut the brisket when we got home to make it edible. Many of the brisket slices were pure fat, pieces that would not be served at other establishments. Overall Townline is worth the stop, but dont expect amazing BBQ.

On our way home from a delightful round of golf, we had an urge for some great brisket to take home. Where else but, Townline BBQ. After all, this is what they specialize in, so our expectation was high. What a huge disappointment! The entire pound of brisket had to go into the garbage. It was overcooked and very dry. Nobody was able to eat it. What was most appalling was the way they packed it. The slices (irregular) were placed on a hamburger bun, which absorbed any juices that might have been there prior to packing. Unfortunately, as with many establishments out here: They are great when they first open, and after a few years the quality significantly decreases. Don't allow yourself to be taken advantage of by patronizing this restaurant. Shame on the owner, who should know better, based on his other successful locations. Perhaps, this place just serves as a tax write-off!!

Solis BBQ for the hamptons. Possibly the only devoted bbq establishment in the area. Nice low key vibe. I ordered a brisket and it was a bit dry but the other items on the menu were decent.

Big fan of Towline! Great local bbq. The pulled pork is my fave, chicken is juicy, and fries are perfectly crisp. Definitely recommend when in the area!

Stopped by one evening with my wife. Past many times but never stopped. Have to have it is some of the best BBQ on the Southfork. I had the St Louis Style Ribs with bake beans. The ribs were very tastey. The spicy BBQ I preferred over the original BBQ. Their beer section was also very good. Have to say I would go back. Like the deli style ordering and self wrap station. Was not expecting that but both are time savers!
