We had a great experience at Acapulcos Mexican Restaurant. The greeter greeted us with a Smile. Our Server was Excellent, she took our order with a smile, she served us nice hot fresh chips. Our orders all looked delicious. I ordered a Mango Margurita which came as a frozen drink, it was Delicious! We will be going back and i have already told family about the Restaurant, which now they will be going there!

We have mixed feelings about Acapulcos. It is the only Mexican restaurant in town that is not fast food, so if you have a craving and don't want to travel then it can be a decent place to go. We've enjoyed the chile con queso, the tostada salad, the baja quesadilla (shredded beef), and the shrimp fajitas. Half the time everything is delicious, but the other half we are disappointed. The chile con queso often comes out cold with chunks of unmelted cheese. The tostada salad has come out soggy. The shredded beef has tasted like it was past it's expiration date. The shrimp fajitas are not always deveined. The food always comes out quickly and the servers are attentive, but it's disappointing that the consistency of the quality of the food is not there. If you are from the area and willing to drive a little extra, we recommend El Sol de Mexico in Bellingham.

I live a little over an hour away but some friends and I happened to be in the area. We picked this place off the internet and were happy with our choice. We sat in a small cozy area with a good Mexican atmosphere and really nice Mexican music playing. Food, drink and service was excellent. If I lived closer, would definitely be going back.
