Papa burgers were worthy of a big Papa. The bathrooms were open the dining hall not open. Service was good.

At the first moment you step in this restaurant the waiters give you a comfortable feeling. Very warm stuff, it is a kind restaurant to pass time with friends or with your date. Great meals, skillful chief cook and stuff, decent cost and generous service. Warmly recommended.

The ONLY place to get real draft rootbeer. The cheese curds(and most other items) are way better than Culvers

The one that is here is THE BEST. Everything deep fried (corn dog nuggets, onion rings, french fries, etc.) is always cooked to perfection! The meat used in the burgers is not your typical fast food trash but is quality, you can really taste the difference! I highly recommend.

Burger and cheese curds were good, but the chocolate shake was not...will not order again. It tasted like chocolate ice cream mixed with milk. It didn't have a shake texture/consistency.

Visited this location for a quick bite, I wanted to try something new and this was close, I had a double cheeseburger with some fries and a root beer, the food was very good and for the price I say well worth it, will be coming again very soon!

A slight change in my review given the current situation. The person at the drive thru should not be taking money AND giving out food with the same glove. Either change gloves or have 2 people at the window; one to take payment the other to hand out food. I appreciate the effort but that's the biggest cross contamination because the germs stay on the glove. So everything that has been touched by that glove is now EVERYWHERE and on EVERYTHING.

A&W brings back pleasant memories for me. In the 1950s, when I was growing up in Blue Island, Illinois, a Chicago suburb, there was an A&W Drive-In two blocks from our house. In the summer, when my mother played golf on Wednesdays, my brother and I would have lunch at the A&W. Our coach took our Pony League team to A&W for root beers after games. In those days, the menu features Mexi-burgs and Barbie-burgs, hot and mild versions of Sloppy Joes. But, always, the most favorite item of all was a frosty cold mug of A&W root beer. Well, the A&W Drive-In in Blue Island is long gone. And the menu has changed. But the root beer remains the same. Frosty, cold, smooth and delicious. Like no other root beer.
