I love coming to this place with my family. The staff is very friendly and remembers our faces. Their food is great as well. My only issue with this restaurant is the parking lot. When it's busy, it can be difficult to find a spot to park because the parking lot is small and parking is kind of tight.

Very likely my favorite breakfast spot in the last year. It had that classic diner vibe straight out of a Quentin Tarrentino movie. Right down to the retro booths, light fixtures and fans. I think the waitress had started the place and could be an extra in any of his movies centered around a diner. I tried the Egg & Bacon breakfast. It was just freakin' perfect. I had it with the biscuits and gravy. I could have wept, I mean stopped, right there. Two massive, flaky biscuits with some great gravy. Maybe a kick with chicken broth brought it up a notch. The eggs were solid as were the hash browns. The coffee was kind of weirdly watered down which was a surprise. The bacon was good, but in the crispy style. Definitely a place to go to. Don't let the exterior keep you away. The food, service and inside will make you a regular.

Found out this gem of a dinner thru Yelp. It's true about the outside, but once yoo. I enter and savor the home booked meals, you'll make it a favorite place to eat. We have come several times for brunch. Menudo, chilaquiles and chile verde are the favorites, but if my daughter joins us, she always orders chicken and waffles. It's served with a side of mashed potatoes and spinach.

Don't judge a book by its cover! The exterior of the building is in need of a serious update, but inside looks more updated. There was no wait at 1, after brunch hour, also Norms is right up the street. The food arrived quickly and was served fresh, hot, and as ordered. Everything was delicious

This place was such a cute old school Mexican style cafe and I Loved the menudo here ! It was soooo fresh and amazing. My husband loved the chilaquiles "the best he's ever had" and he's absolutely obsessed with the breakfast dish. They are very attentive and very friendly! The best mom and pop restaurant I've ever tried.

Good down to earth Mexican cuisine! Small place that serve big plates. Menudo is fresh and clean and not too spicy. You can ask for pata if you'd like. The pozole is good. They have American traditional food such as bacon and eggs etc. The waitresses are friendly. I recommend this place if your craving authentic Mexican food!

Ordered chicken and waffles, had high hopes because of yelp but was super disappointed. Chicken was dry, waffles was dry and hard. Also ordered biscuits and gravy, horrible tasting gravy! Never never coming here again. The waitress was nice, that's about it

Honestly, this place is not something to look at, and it's kind of a "dive" type diner. However, the lack of esthetic should not hinder from you from going inside and giving it a try. It's only open for lunch and dinner, and we were there for breakfast. There is a small parking lot around it, but also side streets to park if the lot is full. Our service was very kind, friendly, and quick. Not only were the serving staff wonderful, our food came out fresh and quick! The price can't be beat for California. My husband and I would come here more often if it was closer to us. Try the french toast or pancakes! They were both perfect!
