Chef David Pol is doing an INCREDIBLE job of delivering fantastic food in a difficult environment. The quality has stayed 5 star throughout this pandemic. We only miss seeing him at the tables. Mr Bill

I love going to The Blue Heron Restaurant. It's located next to a beautiful lake, has wonderful food choices on their regular menu, offer great buffets on Thursdays, have a nice bar, everyone is friendly and it's a joyful atmosphere.

The confusing mess that is the Blue Heron restaurant is a perfect example of how a restaurant can only survive when, not only is it subsidized by the local homeowners association, but it is the only dining option for miles around. After you pass through the cloud of cigarette smoke at the front steps created by the teams of staff that seem to be on an endless break, the “fine dining“ experience presented to customers of the Blue heron, is a carousel of frozen, pre-made food rivaled only by the discount frozen food section at the supermarket. The dishes offered are made by an inexperienced cooks at the chef can’t be bothered to care. The recent addition of a pizza oven not only diminishes from the “fine dining“ concept that the Blue heron is trying to promote, but it could have been the only redeeming factor of this otherwise disappointing restaurant. However, the pizzas that are churned out, are generally a burnt rubbery mess that is certainly not worth the $15+ price tag.
