Someone said their steaks were great. I wouldn't know. In my 70+ years eating Mexican food, I've NEVER eaten a better Chili Relleno than Suttler's. It fills the whole platter with poblano flavored goodness. The refried beans which accompany it are a smoky delight. I could live on the fideo soup which tops off this meal to perfection. And,in this time of distancing, the rellano is even better the next day. We ordered 10 to go, shared with friends and neighbors, and had a ((virtual) dinner party.
The best steak House in all of Verde valley service amazing place is always clean you walk in and greeted at the door seated immediately restaurant
Reasonable prices and great food. Also got a 10% discount when showing our hotel key from Fort Verde Suites.
The first time we went there are food and service was great meet the owner Dave was very charming. The second time my husband and I ordered the same thing our burgers medium rare like last time. But this time the burgers were well done my husband had to drink 2 beers to wash it down. The last time was on a Monday and we were going to order 2 burgers med rare but the waitress who was family said absolutely not that the cook wouldn’t do it! So we both ordered the 8oz ribeye sandwich medium rare!! Well here it cane well done not 8oz it was so thin. Showed it to the waitress her comment was I’ll let the cook know!! Not even how can I make this right!!! When you pay $40 for a lunch you don’t expect jack in the box when the owner is away this is what happens won’t be going back! To bad it’s a really neat place.
Food was good. Manager/owner was very rude. Wait staff was decent. They all need to improve their attitudes.
Went here tonight for the first time after bowling tournament at Cliff Castle . Had the 8oz sirloin as did my son-in-law. Both steaks were delicious and cooked to perfection. Daughter had the fried checked and it too was delicious. First time ever that a baked potato came with real bacon. The restaurant was clean with a lot of old western charm. Will drive from Chino Valley in a heartbeat to eat there again. Definitely 5 stars!!!!
First date, spent two hours there. Salad was sparse. Dressing completely made up for it. I usually don't eat bread, dinner rolls were flawless. Ordered the Bone In Ribeye, waitress said they only had one and was unsure on size. I told her I didn't care. It was 32 oz. Cooked perfectly and only $59! Definitely leftovers and the mixed vegetables were hot but still crisp.
Great steaks, Chile flavored meatloaf, love it. Good service and my wife and I go there frequently.
Did not have Prime Rib it's a Friday nite special this is why I came in. Did not have live music like they said on Facebook. So was going to get the small New York strip. But they only had 20oz for something like 27.99. I ended up just paying for 1 mixed drink and to soda, and 1 of the soda didn't drink cause was saving to wash down my Prime Rib..so I had to pay $16 for drinks and need to find something to eat tonight...never going back again. That kinda sucks cause I have been there before and had fun with karaoke
Best steakhouse! Went on New Years Eve . Be prepared to spend a couple of hours. If ur in a hurry get fast food. Personally I like time in between courses. Got an 8 oz sirloin and tasted like beef tenderloin. The best I have ever had! Good flavor and tender. Great salad and everything is fresh. Real bacon on my potato and fresh chives. Will be going often. Can't wait to try the burgers!
