This is my favorite sushi place. The staff are always very friendly and polite. The food is always fresh and tastes amazing. And they do their best to make sure the presentation is excellent. The prices are great. I love the seating area in the enclosed booths. I've been to many sushi places in kelowna and ozekis has remained my friends and my favorite sushi place.

My husband and I moved here from Vancouver, having a lot of great sushi experiences. O-Zeki has the best sushi in Kelowna, friendly staff, fast service, and great prices. We eat here very often and love it! Also, lots of great vegetarian options, including veggie gyozas (often I find restaurants only offer pork). Thank you!!

Worst customer service experience in Canada and that by their manager well that’s what the women called herself! Entered the restaurant with my mother her last day in the city wanted her to have authentic Japanese experience since I have been to this restaurant many times and have had awesome food and experience and told my mother about how good the place was. We entered the restaurant the manager women is like how many people we said 3 she took us to a booth. We went there and didn’t want to sit in the booth as with 3 people it would be congested. At this point I walk toward the corner to see if we could move somewhere else and the manager yells at me to go to my table which I found very strange and it was rude as I should be able to walk freely anywhere I want if I am not disturbing anyone which I was not as more than half the restaurant was empty, to be polite I didn’t reply back to her in loud tone how she used hers so I went to her and asked if we could move to another table she pointed at a 2 seat table and said I’ll add another chair which is ridiculous to even offer when the whole restaurant has less than half tables taken so she told me go back to my table, not letting me even stand outside the booth was just weird. I started walking towards the other side of the restaurant she started yelling “go to your table please” this was just insane! Me and my mom got out of the booth at this point so she offered another bigger table but there was food on it and the manager told us to sit in the waiting sofa. I started discussing with my mom how we should maybe not sit there as it looked like staff was eating food there as there were cellphones on the table and food still not eaten just to be polite to the staff who was eating she told me again with a loud tone “please go to your waiting chair”. I told her she cannot talk to me in this manner this is rude she started saying how am I being rude? Saying please with an attitude is still rude! Then she started flipping out walking with hand gestures mumbling and telling her staff how I was being rude. She started yelling you are disturbing the guests, and opened the door and said go out we will not serve you! guess what you really need manager courses and extensive training. I feel sorry for your colleagues and owner who lost customers because of this. I told her I will leave a rating and she said “I don’t care about your rating” well this clearly shows how uneducated you are in this industry as taking care of customers is one of the most important aspect of food industry. Well I went to Ume restaurant for sushi and had an awesome experience. You don’t care but your owner lost recurring business and new business and the image of the place because of you that’s why I am clarifying here to people so they know there’s nothing wrong with ozeki but you! Your supervisor needs to give you etiquette training too. Will never go there again!
