For a celiac there are very limited places you can eat. This place has always stepped up making sure it is safe and delicious. Thank you!!!!?

I ordered takeout from Mekong and was slightly disappointed with my meal. My order consisted of chowmein and one eggroll.I'll start with the good about what i enjoyed from my meal from Mekong. The chowmein I ordered was a good portion and the flavor, while lacking, was still there and not that bad. Now I'll continue with what i disliked about my order. So first off they got my order wrong and gave me chicken chowmein rather than vegetable chowmein. I said vegetable chowmein twice over the phone because the lady taking my order thought i said chicken and I corrected her with vegetable. I received chicken though. Secondly the price of my meal was higher than other chinese restaurants I have ordered at. The eggroll alone (just one of them) cost me $3.50 which is very expensive in my opinion. Thirdly, as also told in other reviews, the chowmein was soupy on the bottom with some sort of sweet sauce which isnt bad tasting but there was too much used. Lastly the eggroll, on top of being expensive, was kinda tasteless and had no real punch or flavor to it. After eating it I was not really sure what flavors I was tasting and was kind of disappointed. In conclusion, my meal at Mekong was disappointing and even if I dont take into account the order mistake the food itself being expensive, soupy, and no impacting flavor was a let down in the end.

had a take out order the other day and we found that there was a lot of sweet sauces/liquid in a lot of the dish's. it seemed like they were filling the container's with liquid instead of food. wasn't like this before when we had take-outs

We ordered takeout from here on a Sunday evening due to their catering to both vegans (us) and meat-eaters (some family members). Nice assortment of interesting dishes to choose from. We ordered 6 vegan dishes (pictured below), which were mostly pretty solid. The ma-po tofu, spicy satay vegetables, and eggplant were perhaps the highlights; the rice noodle dish was pretty uninspired. Not particularly authentic, but you can't expect that in the Okanagan -- there was a decent spiciness to some of them, like the ma-po tofu. It took a little longer for the food to be delivered than they said, but it wasn't too bad a wait. The portions were solid, though the prices were on the high side (often $15+) for moderate portions. Not sure if I'd return, but it's a decent spot to cater to different dietary preferences.

Good size portions and staff are nice. Unfortunately the food was subpar. The chicken was rubbery and tasted almost undercooked. The noodles didn't have much flavour but were overly sweet. Would not recommend

Delicious gluten-free entrees! My husband (who's not celiac) prefers the GF menu items! I am celiac and have eaten here 3 times; it's become our favourite take-out restaurant! Great service. The Beef and broccoli is so tender and flavourful, and you have to try the Szechuan ginger beef with house made sauce! My husband also loves the lemon chicken (not GF).

I love this place! They're always so friendly and kind, and the food is absolutely delicious! Priced very well too, and with the lunch specials it's definitely worth every penny!

Great food and friendly owner. Has a good variety between authentic Chinese and North American style cooking.

We were looking for a quick dinner and came across Mekong as it was close. It was the best Asian food we have had in Canada!
